Beach Dental Center is pleased to offer many restorative dentistry services to enhance the natural beauty of your smile. Restorative dentistry techniques are used to fix chipped, broken or missing teeth as well as decayed or damaged teeth.
Dental crowns are tooth-shaped caps that are placed over a tooth to restore the shape, size and functionality of your bite. A crown is often needed when a tooth has become cracked or is breaking apart to restore strength to the biting surface. Crowns are used in cases of extreme decay when the surface of the tooth needs to be replaced. They are also used to replace the tooth surface after root canal procedures.
If you are self-conscious about missing teeth, or you wear removable dentures, dental implants offer an excellent long-term option for restoring your smile. Dental implants are made of titanium and are placed in your upper or lower jaw to provide a strong foundation for the replacement tooth.
Bonding is a commonly used restorative dentistry procedure where our dentist can attach porcelain or resin directly to the tooth enamel to help correct the appearance of chipped teeth. The bonding material will be matched to your natural tooth color, making it a seamless restoration.

For cosmetic purposes, tooth-colored fillings are available to fill areas that have been drilled for cavities. Composite fillings offer a more natural appearance than the typical amalgam fillings (silver) and are strong and durable. At Beach Dental, we encourage fewer cavities through preventative dentistry, but when necessary, we provide white resin fillings to restore the tooth surface.

B R I D G E S
At Beach Dental, custom bridges are a removable appliance that replace missing teeth. You may find that missing teeth makes it more difficult to chew and speak. Dental bridges are supported by your natural teeth and are usually made of a porcelain material. Bridges restore your smile and the function of your bite.
ROOT
C A N A L S
Root canal therapy is a procedure used to alleviate pain in a tooth caused by inflammation or infection. While we do not perform root canal treatment in our office, we work closely with trusted endodontic specialists in the area to ensure our patients receive the highest quality care. If a root canal is needed, we will help coordinate your referral to a local specialist. Once the root canal is complete, patients return to our office for the final restoration, such as a crown, to fully restore the tooth’s strength and function.
